My experience?

Let's see...they show up 3 hours late to install...they blow motors on two major appliances when the guy put the UPS box in the garage ($400 in costs to me)...when he "finishes the install", we discover the phones weren't working...once he got the phones working, the voice mail wasn't activated (and didn't get activated until 36 hours later)...still waiting on resolution on the appliances from the "area manager" who never calls me back.

On top of all that...I find out there's no picture in picture AND it is impossible to fast forward shows that you are watching from remote rooms off of the main DVR (it either goes too slow and you'd be better off watching it or it goes so fast you can't stop it in time).

Needless to say, Verizon has about 20 days to show me why I shouldn't go back to cable. Even if it costs me more, the customer service alone will be worth the money...

Wow doesn't sound like you had a good experience there. Mine was actually just the Opposite. Took all morning but I understand since it was one guy. I believe as the techs get mor experience under their belt, we will probably hear more better experiences than what you had.

Since the service is just about a year old I am sure they still need to work out the kinks. So what happened to your blown motors? Were they finally fixed?
